A typical small village pub with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Extensively renovated and comfortable, it is open plan and L-shaped and popular for meals, especially the Over 60s lunches on Wednesdays and the hearty Sunday lunches! There are six en-suite bedrooms at very reasonable rates, for those looking to stay. Situated one mile from Drigg seashore and sand dunes it is adjacent Drigg railway station (request stop - stick your hand out!) and Spindle Crafts - a delightful, well-stocked crafts and tea shop.
