This cosy, pleasant local pub, situated just off the main road through the village, dates from around 1890, when it was a coaching inn. The single bar has a pool table and dartboard, and a Sky sports TV. The rear of the building is a large function room, which can handle up to 70 people. The large rear garden is popular with families, and sometimes hosts a bouncy castle for additional entertainment.
