This building was formerly a mine foreman's house and also a mortuary before black country ales took over and fully refurbished the pub from the previous owner in 2021. This open plan public house has sixteen hand pulls with thirteen being real ale and three being cider. There are bar snacks and cobs available and the friendly staff are always happy to help. Children are allowed in up until 7pm. The pub is a short walk from Chasetown country park and railway.
