Traditional comfortable multi roomed pub with local photographs.

Very busy pub with a focus on food but still with plenty of room for drinkers. Real fires are complimented by friendly staff and a pleasant ambience. Two very modern outside pods provide additional smart eating areas and separate function catering space. There is a focus on sport with several large TV screens. The carved wooden bar is striking. Thwaites Wainwright and Timothy Taylor Landlord are favoured cask beers and sometimes a third handpump is used. Extensive menu of home made food.
