This Pub is Closed Long Term

Feb 2024 - A planning application to convert this Admiral Taverns owned pub, which closed in February 2021, into three two-storey private dwellings, with a further six two-storey dwellings to be built across the extensive pub garden, was refused at the end of November 2023. The permanent loss of the Tynings has been averted for now, but the pub remains closed, and the whole of the northeast area of the town, which has few amenities, remains without a pub.

An attractive old pub with a large single bar. Plenty of space for parking or drinking at the front. A quiet location with an extensive view over Radstock. No real ale.
