Traditional pub in a tiny hamlet, quiet, but close to the A2. The pub has a bar, restaurant and large conservatory. Guest beers are sometimes from local breweries. Regular events include a beer festival, charity fund-raising events with local bands and quizzes. There are Pool, Darts and Bar billiards teams.

New licensees late spring 2023. Have been advised food not available as at January 2024 until further notice and regret that children are no longer allowed in the pub.
