Almost consumed within the surrounding Glyndwr University Stadium, this pub is obviously very busy on football and rugby match days. Records show the current pub is built on the site of an older Turf Tavern from the 1840's. Historically the Racecourse has been used for cricket, horseracing, rugby as well as football. Food is available on match days when you can have a pint with a burger and chips order.
