“Hi the only information I have about this former public house is I temporarily run it for the freeholder at that time for a period of about 14 month's ,the owner at the time was Mr Peter Watson in the early nineties he also owned another pub the Railway Arms in Faversham ,Boughton on the Wold I believe ,his home was near Oxford and had previously been involved in the brewing industry with Tom Cobleigh ,the other pub might have also been the Railway Tavern can't remember ,my time at the pub was short due to my taking of a further public house back closer to home back in Sussex and Mr Watson wanting to sell the property on.”
