The building, close to Doncaster Market Place, was formerly the Old Volunteer Working Men’s Club, it was taken over by Marston's as the Reds Bar circa 2008. By 2011 it had become the Garage, still part of Marston's. In 2014, Chantry Brewery of Rotherham took over and named Flying Scotsman Tap after the iconic Locomotive that was built in Doncaster’s Plant Works in 1923. A mural depicts the loco. Following closure in 2017 it became a cocktail bar & renamed Tropic.
