Ground floor pub with nightclub above.

Timepiece, which opens five nights a week, has a large ground floor public bar with a two-floor nightclub above. In the city's historic Castle Quarter, the premises has been owned and run by a small local company which also owns two other nearby pubs. Each of the three establishments caters for a slightly different clientele and cask ales, mostly regional, are available in all.

Historic Interest

In the Castle Quarter conservation area. Late 18th century, built on the site of the county gaol. Grade II Listed. Historic England list entry 1239320.
