Large open plan modern bar built into a converted mill. The bar offers 4 real ales with an emphasis on local brewers including Wigan Brewhouse and Wiley fox. They have a range of craft beers and lagers on keg together with a range of bottled beers. They also offer an range of cocktails. wines and spirits. Large seating area outside.

Conversion

A large, open plan bar converted in 2025 inside Eckersley Mill One, part of the town’s famous cotton-milling past. The building is from 1884, a hub of industry that is now part of the Cotton Works redevelopment. The pub keeps some of the mill’s historic character and contributes well to a wider community space. The mill has classic tall windows and inside are exposed beams, solid timber pillars and sturdy red brick walls. The stone floors add to its authentic feel. Overall it is a well-designed, impressive space. There is a large seating area outside.
