Situated beside a level crossing 1 mile from the village of Flaxton. Basic, traditional pub run by the same family for over 80 years. Single room split into three areas, one with a pool table. Interesting collection of assorted musical instruments are displayed around the pub. Two regularly served real ales. Accommodation is available with B&B in the pub itself and 3 holiday cottages. Near to Castle Howard. Beer garden with some children’s play equipment. Closed lunchtimes.
