Historic Interest

Now an Italian restaurant it was in 1982 a keg Whitbread pub called the Thomas Dutton named after the Blackburn Brewery taken over by Whitbread. It did start selling Castle Eden Ale by late 1983, with a Branch social being held here on June 17th 1984. It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Castle Eden Ale (H).
