A well-appointed, award-winning, gastro-pub surrounded by woodland, adjacent to the River South Esk and overlooked by the impressive 23-span Waverley line viaduct. The front area is for dining and is divided in to two areas. It has a real fire and a tasteful mixture of exposed stone and papered walls. There is a more modern-styled bar area for drinkers and to the rear a further eating area with glass doors opening out on to the garden on one side and the river terrace on the other. Coffee and cakes are available during the day and breakfast is served until 11.30am during the week.
NOTE: Alcoholic drinks are served from 11am. May close earlier if quiet.
NOTE: A 10% optional service charge may be added to bills.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 0 regular beers.
