The Sun Inn is a 17th century locals' pub located in the beautiful village of Chipping in the Ribble Valley. The Sun sells up to three traditional ales often from local breweries. Freshly prepared food is also available and the pub has opened a wood-fired pizza barn at the rear. Walkers, cyclists and dogs are always welcome, as are family groups.
The pub is also famous for being haunted by the ghost of Lizzie Dean, a scullery maid at the pub, who, jilted by her lover, hung herself in the pub's attic in 1835.
