Grade II listed building dating from 1882 in the gothic revival style. The name derives from Swiss watch-making community who used to be based nearby. Switzerland had 12 cantons at the time and so the local expats became the thirteenth canton!
This is one of Fuller's central craft beer pubs with no cask ale; described as a "buzzing bar", and likely to have loud music in the evenings. The pub has various food residencies for a few weeks at a time, ranging from gastro to street-food, so if you want to eat do check menu and times on the pub website first. The food times given here vary according to the residency.
In these climate-change times, it is worth noting the pub has aircon.
