This Pub is Closed Long Term

Three miles off the B6277 at Middleton in Teesdale, this 17th-century stone and buttressed roadside pub has a welcoming bar with a stone flag floor, beams and real fire, and a separate lounge with tiled floor and pool table. House beer from Mithril, Strathmore Gold, four guest ales(six in summer), and up to twenty ciders. A beer festival is held at the end of July. Food is available during all sessions. Outside is a beer garden and four en-suite letting rooms are available. Regular live music on Fridays. Country Cider Pub 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020.
