This family friendly pub restaurant, off the A633, incorporates a Whacky Warehouse for the children. A new management team took over in September 2017 and the manager, a CAMRA member. is keen to promote real ale and encourage more real ale drinkers to the pub. Greene King IPA is on permanently with another pump dedicated to a second GK beer. A third pump will be used as a guest ale line and the new manager, Oliver, is keen to encourage beer drinkers to recommend an ale they would like to see on this pump. Kelham Island & Chantry beers have both featured to date. A 10% discount for CAMRA members is offered. This may increase to 20% in the future. Handy for the nearby Parkgate Retail World.
