This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Star & Garter was a remotely situated pub in the hamlet of Claygate Cross, between Basted and Crouch within the Borough of Tonbridge & Malling. From the photograph it looks to have been a tied Courage house. It is believed to have closed in 1990, but that is the sum total of our knowledge at present.
