Historic Interest

Delicensed on 04/09/09 landlord was Jacqueline Heyes and owner Punch Taverns. In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg Pub but by February 1983 it was selling Tetley Mild and Bitter (H), and a social was held here on May 25th 1983. In the summer of 1986 the pub was transferred from being a Tetley house to a Walkers one and by September 1986 it had been refurbished and a social was held here on October 15th 1986 when the beers were Walkers Mild and Best Bitter, the Walkers Winter Warmer was also available too in 1986 and 1987. A pub Crawl visited on November 25th 1988, and again on February 17th 1994. It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Walkers Mild and Best Bitter (H).
