Originally the Star & Garter and for a few years, MacAndrews, a Scottish themed pub, it reopened in late November 2012 after a complete refurbishment. This historic pub is now part of the McGintys group.

Many screens for sports lovers and a large projection screen can be viewed just on the left-hand side as you come in the door.

Serving four ales with two pumps varying.

Unfortunately no longer serving food.
