An attractive pub on the edge of Scholes village, popular with locals and offering a warm, friendly welcome to all, including walkers. It features an open plan, comfortable layout with a large central fireplace and traditional decor, with a large beer garden with ample seating to the rear. Bus 256 passes by while 254 and 259 stop a few minutes walk away. Quiz night Thursday, open mic Wednesday, live band on Sundays. A blackboard by the bar lists the beers, with prices. Last orders Mon,Tue 9:30.
