The Stables, the conversion of a former riding school, is well worth a visit. From the outside it doesn't look like a pub, with a very small sign. It oozes farmhouse character with is original beams and wooden furniture and offers a friendly welcome. There is deceptively large main restaurant and bar with a small snug behind the bar. The walls, window ledges and the ceiling are adorned with photos and miscellaneous bric a brac too many to mention. Note the low ceilings and archways in the main bar area.
On the bar two handpulls are usually in use ; Timothy Taylor Landlord and a a guest. An extensive menu is available daily. Breakfast available from 0930 Monday to Saturday The pub can get get busy so it is wise to book ahead for a meal. There is a a pleasant outside seating area and a defibrillator outside.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
