A lovely old pub with ample car parking and good space for children to play also camping and caravan facilities. Parts of this traditional village local are around 500 years old. It is open plan with the main drinking area circling a large open fire. A separate tabled area is for diners.Popular with young and old alike, the Square serves Food at reasonable prices.At the rear of the pub is a well- equipped outdoor children's play area and plentiful seating for those sunny afternoons out. Accolades:Newark CAMRA Pub of the Year 2003.
