This former Irish keg pub then called the Shamrock had been closed by Marston's in June 2018. It was bought by Joseph Holt in March 2019.
It was refurbished by Joseph Holt in 2026 and renamed the 'Spinner's Rest' after a public vote and opened to the public on 29th June.
There is a single large room with the bar opposite and to the left as you enter. the interior had been tastefully decorated with lots of dark wood. There are 2 banks of 3 handpulls each serving cask as well as the full range of Holt's keg beers.
The toilets are on the first floor.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers (Other Holts or Bootleg beers) and 2 regular beers.
