This Pub is Closed Long Term
CLOSED DOWN ON 28 MAY 2023. ENQUIRIES WERE MADE SHORTLY AFTER AND THE OWNER INDICATED AN ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT THE PUB'S FUTURE WOULD BE MADE IN AROUND 2 WEEKS. IN NOVEMBER 2023, NO ANNOUNCEMENT HAD BEEN MADE AND THE PUB REMAINS CLOSED WITH NO SIGNS OF RE-OPENING.
Opened in 2011 by local enthusiasts and kick-starting the North Parade bar scene, this simply furnished cafe-style pub was refurbished in May 2018 under new ownership by Kirkstall Brewery.
The interior comprises painted walls with breweriana pictures and mirrors, many of which have a Scottish theme, and dark wood panelling behind the bar. There is a main bar area on the ground floor with additional seating and larger tables in the basement. The six cask beers are usually from the Kirkstall range with the occasional guest beer from other breweries. Nine taps behind the bar serve kegged beers, usually from Kirkstall and small independent breweries, and one cider. A good range of bottled beers is also available. The pub can be very busy when Bradford City FC are playing at home.
Please note that the pub may close early if quiet.
