Somewhat off the beaten track, this traditional pub has a small cosy bar with open fire and a larger lounge also with an open fire. The beers are sourced by the landlord, including up to seven cask ales and a real cider on handpull, with LocAle always featured; The pub is reputed to be haunted. Beer festivals are held in May. Voted local CAMRA branch Country Pub of the Year 2017.
