This is a popular village pub with a very friendly atmosphere. There are two real ales on a regular basis plus one guest on occasionally. Sandwiches are served at lunchtimes Tuesday to Friday. The pub enjoys a regular bus service to Reading and Mortimer.

Note that food on Sundays needs to be pre-booked.
