In late 2023 Fairley's Bar became The Singin' Thistle. The following description pre-dates that change.

Fairley's Bar is a bar and off licence situated very near Coleraine's railway station. It replaced a derelict hotel/nightclub in 1994. A notable feature is the attached off licence. It is well stocked and drink can be purchased from it and consumed in the bar although there is a corkage charge. The bar area opens up to a quieter area with a booth, which in turn leads to a lounge with a real fire. Local society events are hosted, and there is a snooker table and sports TV. It is a long established venue and popular with locals and visitors alike. Not open on Sunday.
