This Grade II listed, 16th century building is very welcoming with low-beamed ceilings and a cosy open fire. The pub consists of two bars with many small rooms adjoining. Accommodation can be found in two stone annexes and a small cottage to the rear.
The pub is said to be haunted by a former landlord who met his demise by throwing himself out of a bedroom window.
