Fine pub on the edge of the village, with fine views over the Ribble estuary and Freckleton Marches. Popular for its food. About a ten-minute walk to the main road and bus routes. Quiz night every Thursday.

Historic Interest

There is evidence of a smuggler's drinking den on this site in the 14th Century and a pub was recorded on this site in 1677 when it was first licensed. The current building dates from the mid-1800s. It is probably the oldest pub site on the Fylde Coast.
