Set in a remote location high in the Ochils above Dunblane and Bridge of Allan, this old drovers inn dates from 1786 and is close to the monument commemorating the Battle of Sheriffmuir. The bar had exposed stone walls, flagged floor, pitched roof and feature mezzanine. It was made famous as the home for Andy Robins and Hercules the Bear. It closed down in January 2017, was up for sale for two years, then eventually changed into a private house.
