This Pub is Closed Long Term
Set in a remote location high in the Ochils above Dunblane and Bridge of Allan, this old drovers inn dates from 1786 and is close to the monument commemorating the Battle of Sheriffmuir. Popular with walkers, tourists and locals. The bar offers exposed stone walls, flagged floor, pitched roof and feature mezzanine. Milk churns form the bar stools. The restaurant serves fine pub food taken in front of an open fire. Open year-round, the pub offers a warm and welcoming haven in stunning scenery. In the winter months one pump serves ales from either the Stewarts or Inveralmond range. The number of pumps during the summer months is increased to two serving ales from various Scottish breweries.
