A long-established Shropshire cricket club is looking forward to an exciting future with the development of a new clubhouse.
Sport has been played on the site since the 19th century after the Bicton Asylum was built in the 1880s, with the Bowling Club formed in 1891 and the earliest cricket fixture card dating back to 1903.
The new clubhouse has been converted from the old hospital workshops by Shropshire Homes as part of the development of the site and Shropshire Council.
