This large pub caters for the real ale drinkers as well as for people wanting to eat. There are six ales served to Cask Marque standard, with the regular one brewed by Black Sheep Brewery solely for Ember Inns. On Mondays there is a cask ale club with reduced prices. There is a good-value daytime, and evening menu. Although pub opens at 10am, Saturday and Sunday, drinks are served from 1130am.
