Part of the Paragon Pub Group and fully refurbished early in 2018. A pub restaurant with a strong emphasis on quality food, the pub website describes it as a premium country dining venue close to Cannock Chase. There is a drinker's area by the bar. The beer range may vary. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are available. There is a teepee in the garden that can be hired for occasions and events. The beers are always varying, from regional breweries such as Three Tuns, Purity, Titanic & Salopian. Between 1991 & 1993 the pub was known as the Oakhouse Inn.
Historic Interest
The 1986 BBC Doomsday project recorded that "The Seven Stars pub is over 400 years old and is situated on the A34 near Brocton. The present lease owner has been the tenant for 25 years. The opening hours of the pub are 11am to 3pm and 6pm to 11pm except Sunday on which it opens from 12pm to 2pm and 7pm to 10.30pm. The pub is family run with a very friendly atmosphere. As well as normal pub facilities the pub also provides a clay pigeon club, Osprey watersports rescue team, junior football team and a very successful darts team. Many different people go into the pub, between the ages of 18 and 80. Most of these are regulars. Passing trade accounts for about 10% of its custom."
