This Pub is Permanently Closed

Large pub situated on the Southport Coastal Road opposite the remains of the old station on the Cheshire Lines railway. The pub does most of its trade in the summer, being handy for visitors to Pontin's and Ainsdale beach. The Sands is used by a number of local organisations such as the Southport & Formby Quiz League due to its private room at the front of the pub where meals are also served. There is also a pool table and plenty of seating to the rear of the pub. It has a large car park and is also handy for walkers doing the Sefton Coastal Path walk. Has one occasional changing beer on on busy nights
