Historic Interest

Opened in 1865, a West Cheshire Brewery pub. It had several names in the few years before it closed - Heswall Bar & Courtyard, Milners, Slack. Described in 1990 as a large single room Whitbread pub with mainly young clientele, selling Whitbread Trophy and Marstons Pedigree by handpump. Closed by 2014. Pub demolished and residential flats built on the site.
