This Pub is Permanently Closed

Originally named the Brown Cow, this pub was renamed the Railway Hotel in the 1870's to coincide with the growth of the railways in the area. In the 1960's in underwent a final refurbishment and was renamed the Royal Scot. The pub was closed in 2008 and subsequently demolished to make way for housing.
