No bar now
October 2011 - no bar any more - running as a B&B hotel. The original building dates back to around 1750 and is terraced with an archway leading through to a rear parking and outside seating courtyard. It has 10 letting bedrooms (3 en-suite) together with public rooms and spacious and well appointed private accommodation. The property has been substantially improved by the current owners but there is potential for further development of the accommodation.
Situated in the centre of the town. A TV in the bar shows sports events. Regular quiz nights are held. Children welcome until 8.00 pm.
