This Pub is Closed Long Term
Closed July 2019. The future of the pub is uncertain.
Located in the centre of Nonington, the Royal Oak provides a modern, pleasant and relaxed environment mixed with traditional welcome and service.
The pub underwent comprehensive refurbishment in 2013 and now has a bar area, restaurant, private dining area and marquee offering plenty of room to sit, drink and eat.
Their real ale selection usually includes ales from Wantsum and Whitstable, as well as one from a national brewery.
A wide-variety of home-made bar, snack and restaurant food are available, using locally sourced produce, and in summer weekly BBQs and monthly hog roasts are held.
There's plenty of room outside with a secure garden, children's adventure playground, BBQ and garden snug.
At the front the large decked area overlooks the village pond and Plumptre estate. The pub has a busy calendar of events including monthly quiz nights, food themed night and a beer festival in July.
