A rare example of a two-bar ex-Strongs house, the Royal Oak was renamed when the rebuilt after a fire in the late 1890s. A basic pub,the large lounge has plenty of tables and chairs. Note the pump clips on display as evidence of many previous guest beers. Shove-ha'penny is still played here.
