Rural village pub
Being only half a mile from Boscobel House where King Charles II reputedly hid in an oak tree from parliamentary forces during the English civil war, this 'original' Royal Oak consists of a front long bar room with two fire places, one at either end, dart board, large TV and several large paintings. A smaller sports room to the rear has a second dart board, a pool table and double doors which give access to the patio and car park. The pub supports a darts team which meet on Monday evenings. Cheese boards are available in the Summer months.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (available mainly in the spring and summer) and 1 regular beer.
