Friendly town centre local with classic street corner situation. A Greene King managed house that has had the full ‘refurbishment’ treatment, scrubbed floors, no modern furniture etc Can be boisterous with ‘sports’ fans watching the five TVs including the latest wonder 3D no less! Free goggles supplied. Swift turnover on beer helps sustain the good quality. Large public car park behind Arts Centre opposite.
