The Legion was formed on 1st July 1921 after the 1st World War. The Royal Charter was granted in 1925 it became The Royal British Legion. The Dymchurch branch was founded in 1925 and has around 900 members of which 20% are ex servicemen & women. Squeezed between the City of London pub and the sea wall the Club is open to guests if signed in by a member.
