A family run, traditional, independent pub with three attractive main rooms refurbished to a high specification with lots of woodwork. A range of cask ale styles, mostly sourced from local breweries, usually up to seven at weekends. Good quality home cooked food. Through the rear door is a partly-covered patio leading to a sports bar which is available for private functions. Step-free access. The bus station is a three minute walk away.
