Spacious Palmer's house in centre of town which provides a broad range of live music and events throughout the week which will appeal to a wide range of tastes and ages. Popular among these is the weekly Tuesday quiz night and the monthly cheese club. Many other social groups use the pub for their social gatherings. The pub serves the whole of the Palmers range of beers including seasonal specials and which turn over very quickly thus always ensuring a fresh pint of real ale. Breakfast is served between 10am and 11am
