This Pub is Permanently Closed

Converted into accommodation for a nearby college. Now Sherwood House. The original Robin Hood was about 120 yds further up the road and the licence was transferred to the new premises in 1948. The licensee at the time, Mrs PJ Midwinter, said she & her late husband had been at the old pub for 43 years.
