Historic Interest

Dating back to 1860, open until the early 1900s, a Yates's Castle Brewery, later a Spragg's pub. The clearer picture shows the building without any signage behind the lamp post and horse and carriage. Became a private residence then a shop. The building was demolished in the 1960s.
