Originally the first inn on the road from Reading, but now a popular community local serving a good selection of real ales. The pub comprises a single spacious bar, plus a small room for children at the rear. A sports lover's pub with many large TV screens, that have the volume turned down for other events. There is also a useful, separate alcove area for darts players. There is a covered area at the front with tables, which doubles up as a smoking area. Well behaved dogs are welcome. No food, but bar snacks are available. NOTE:- Cash and Cards both accepted.
