Traditional pub, popular with students of the nearby university. Backing onto the railway line, and handy for trains and local buses. Several drinking areas of different character, including a vaulted cellar. The beer garden is very popular with the student population and locals alike, though access is via the upper floor. Opens early until late seven days a week. Under new ownership December 2024.
